This blog post covers my journey from getting rejected from Summer of Bitcoin last year to applying again for the same organization, getting selected this year, and contributing to Jam.

Please either:

• add Jam to the README's Available Categories if it is a sufficiently distinct, reusable category; or
• replace it in the post front matter with an existing appropriate category such as Wallets or Privacy.

• The post says you had 49 merged PRs "at the time of writing," but it later discusses PR #1276, which merged on June 21. GitHub shows 56 of your Jam PRs had merged by the end of that date. Please update the count to 56 for that checkpoint or, preferably, remove the volatile exact count.
