This will definitely need a review as I can't seem to find on how to test this myself, I'm just using the other functions as a base, but hopefully enough of the work is done to get it modified and over the line. I THINK I got it all right, but I'm definitely poking around the dark, TypeScript, and API's are not my wheel house.
This should close #4 if it works correctly
