The README says Linux is "In development". The last Linux feature commit on
origin/linuxwas 2026-05-14, three months ago, and every Linux commit since then came from two outside contributors adding drivers. The marketing site says something stronger still, that a Linux app "is being built ... working already", and it sits one entry below the FAQ answering "Is this abandoned like Sequel Pro?".The branch itself is more honest than either.
linux/ROADMAP.mdsays the client is "past demo-grade, but still not beta-shippable".So this changes the status to what is true: a prototype with nothing to install.
It also adds a Windows row.
linux/docs/decisions/0002-rust-gtk4-libadwaita.mdstates outright that "a future port to macOS or Windows from this codebase is impractical", so a reader comparing TablePro against a cross-platform client deserves to see that as a No rather than infer it from an absent row. Windows is the larger market of the two, and saying nothing reads as "coming later".Same change in all three READMEs.
This is not a decision to stop the Linux work. The branch, its CI and its four ADRs stay exactly where they are, and driver contributions keep landing there. It only stops the project claiming an activity level it is not sustaining.
No CHANGELOG entry: documentation only.
