Release PR for ThinkWatch Lite 2026.10.1.

• Version bump in the four files.
• release-notes/2026.10.1.md for the release page. It covers everything since v2026.10.0: script plugins, the session Conversation tab, the three security guards, stored bodies with secrets replaced and the new storage defaults, failed upstream answers, and two fixes from core 0.59.0 (no Visual C++ Redistributable on Windows, redaction speed with many secrets).

Upgrade check

• Core goes from 0.57.1 to 0.59.0: protocol 31 → 35 and request store schema 23 → 25, so a remote core must be 0.59.0 and the request history is cleared once. Both are in the upgrade notes.
• A config written by 0.57.1 twcore init, and a copy of a real local config, both pass twcore check 0.59.0. The copy was deleted afterwards.
• A config with security.hidden_text fails twcore check 0.59.0 with a schema error, so the app would start in safe mode. The upgrade notes say which settings write these keys in 2026.10.0 and how to remove them.

Checks

• scripts/version.sh → 2026.10.1; cargo metadata --locked --offline; release_notes_test.py
• Everything else is unchanged from Use core v0.59.0: plugin files hold their configuration, one editor #272, which ran the full suite against the published twcore 0.59.0.
