An update found by the daily check used to be a one-off system notification: once it was dismissed from Notification Center, the only trace left was the menu item. It is now a notice like the others: listed in the bell (grey, not red), shown as a system notification when notices are set to that, and listed only when set to in-app. - One notice per version (`update:<version>`): finding the same version again the next day leaves it alone; finding a newer one withdraws the older one - Withdrawn when a check finds nothing newer, and at startup: the found version only lives in memory, so a notice left from the last run would open an empty update window - Clicking it in the list, the menu bar or Notification Center opens the update window and marks it read Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
