Why

The main branch of editorconfig-checker/action-editorconfig-checker only installs editorconfig-checker and adds it to PATH, and the example workflow of the action runs the binary in a step of its own. Only @v1, a Docker action, ran the check by itself. The editorconfig job here has used @main without such a step since it was added, so it has never checked a file.

What

• The step with the action is now named Install editorconfig-checker, and a new Check editorconfig step runs editorconfig-checker.

Notes

• editorconfig-checker v4.0.2, the version the action installs, finds no errors on main, so the job stays green.
