Plugin: https://github.com/TrunkRecorder/trunk-plugin-mqtt, release v0.1.5

New, or an update? New, listed as official. Publishes calls, unit activity and system status to an MQTT broker, in the format of the original Trunk Recorder's MQTT Status plugin, so existing consumers will be unchanged to the extent that such is possible. TRP remains in development, and current plugin calls are not 100% identical in what they provide or when they trigger.

This plugin also sends new fields that only Trunk Recorder Pro reports (calls that weren't recorded, emergency alarms, SNR, the cipher), shows the broker's state on the dashboard, and has optional Home Assistant discovery (thanks, @connorjfarrell!).

./check plugins/mqtt.json passes for all four platforms.

For the reviewer

  • The source is public, and its license allows it to be listed
  • It does what it says, and sends nothing anywhere the user didn't configure
  • Secrets are marked x-secret, and never logged
  • It copes without M4A, if it asks for it
  • It starts with its default settings, or says what to set
  • The id is fitting and doesn't impersonate anyone
  • For an update: read the compare from the old entry's commit to the new one
