After `npm install -g npm@latest`, the global prefix's bin dir can sit behind the Node manager's bundled npm (fnm/nvm) on PATH, so the upgrade was not picked up by later commands. Prepend the global bin dir to PATH, clear the shell's command hash, and log which npm version and path are now in use.
Update the minimum VS Code engine and @types/vscode to ^1.140.0, and bump @types/node to ^26.6.4, lefthook to ^2.1.16, and vite to ^8.3.2. The lock file also picks up chai 6.3.0 and rolldown ~1.2.11 as transitive updates.
Update eslint dev dependency from ^10.11.0 to ^10.12.0. The lockfile also picks up patch bumps for @azure/msal-browser, @azure/msal-common and ignore, and nests msal-common 16.14.1 under @azure/msal-node.
