Summary

Add a proposed design document for Rho + sclet vertical integration:

Make Rho an AI-assisted single-cell and spatial transcriptomics workbench by integrating YuLab-SMU/sclet.

Status

• Proposed only; no implementation authorized.
• This document records direction and sequencing, not a work package.

Key Points

• sclet is a state-aware SingleCellExperiment toolkit with a unified Run*(sce, ...) API and an explicit Analysis-State Contract.
• Rho can provide durable run/evidence/Agent execution semantics around sclet workflows.
• This vertical is explicitly gated behind:
  1. shared application service seam (already active)
  2. remote R / remote project support (not yet proposed)
  3. more complete Agent capabilities (partially proposed)

Proposed Order

architecture → remote R → smarter agent → sclet vertical

Non-Goals

• No implementation now.
• No second store/authority.
• No automatic approval.
• No schema/public protocol change solely for sclet.
• Not replacing sclet as the analysis engine.
