Hey @abishekanthony07, thanks for sharing this! Really enjoyed reading it. The Hourglass metaphor is clever and the GymDiary experiment makes the whole thing nicely tangible. A few thoughts to make it even stronger:

SDD feels a bit rushed
Spec-Driven Development is actually one of the most interesting ideas in the article, but it only gets a short section at the end without a clear definition, a concrete example, or a proper distinction from BDD. If SDD is meant to be the key takeaway, I'd love to see it developed further. Otherwise it risks feeling like a teaser that doesn't quite land. Totally fine to frame it explicitly as "Part 2 material" if that's the plan!

AIDD: your term or an established one?
You introduce "AI-Driven Development (AIDD)" as a methodology, but it's not entirely clear whether this is an industry-established concept or your own framing. Either is totally valid, but it would help readers to know upfront. If it's your own model, own it!

Release & Monitoring deserves more love
The description promises coverage from Requirements Engineering to Production Release, but the Release & Monitoring section is basically one paragraph. Even a brief walkthrough of how AI fits into the CI/CD pipeline would go a long way here.

The conclusion could punch harder
"AI won't replace engineers, but will make them more productive" is pretty much established consensus in 2026. The conclusion is a great opportunity to leave readers with something more specific or thought-provoking. What's your actual take? What should engineers do differently because of all this?

Overall solid work, worth publishing with a bit of polish. Happy to discuss any of this!
