A Python automation demo that monitors local system metrics, records threshold alerts, and creates compressed backup archives from selected files.

📋 Setup

git clone https://github.com/afaqkhan-io/devops-sync-agent.git
cd devops-sync-agent
python -m venv .venv

Windows

.venv\Scripts\activate

macOS / Linux

source .venv/bin/activate

Install dependencies:

pip install -r requirements.txt

▶️ Run

python main.py

Note: This is a local automation/learning project. Backup paths and system thresholds should be reviewed before using it on important data.
