Native HTML5 DnD only, no new dependencies. Directory tree rows act as drop targets via event bubbling (the deepest row under the cursor wins), dropping on the panel background falls back to the project root. The existing upload pipeline (conflict check, overwrite/skip prompt, progress, highlights, mentions) is parameterized by target directory.
TreeNode renders expanded children recursively without going through FileExplorer, so only top-level directory rows received the drag-and-drop props and drops onto deeper subdirectories silently fell back to the project root. Forward dropTargetPath/onDropFiles/onDropTargetChange in the recursive render.
