LGTM. Verified that the patch cleanly updates golang.org/x/crypto to v0.52.0, successfully remediating security advisories affecting v0.14.0 without introducing breaking changes. The verifier binary compiles cleanly, all existing unit tests in checkpoint and tiles pass, and runtime verification semantics, CLI flags, and cache behaviors remain fully backwards-compatible for all downstream users.
Note that as a follow-up, we should update verifier_tools/verify/README.md to reflect the new minimum toolchain requirement (Go 1.25+), and consider upgrading golang.org/x/mod from v0.5.1 to a modern release, which will allow us to drop golang.org/x/crypto as an indirect dependency entirely.
