[FEATURE]: Support Meta AI (Muse) subscription / OAuth login as a provider #60633
I have verified this feature I'm about to request hasn't been suggested before.
Describe the enhancement you want to request
Currently, accessing Meta AI / Muse models in OpenCode requires using an API key or routing via third-party gateways. However, users who have an active Meta AI (Muse) account or subscription cannot authenticate directly to leverage their existing subscription quota.
Other agentic tools and coding IDEs (such as ThinkRail) support direct account/subscription authentication for AI providers rather than restricting users to pay-per-token API keys.
Requested enhancement:
Add account/OAuth sign-in support for Meta AI (Muse) in /connect and opencode auth login.
Enable users with a Meta AI (Muse) subscription to use it directly as a model provider inside OpenCode.
Thanks for the request! I think this is a duplicate of #41551.
Possible duplicates and related items, ordered from most to least likely:
[FEATURE]: Add Muse Spark / Muse Code as a provider #41551: asked to add Muse Spark / Muse Code as a provider so a Muse Code subscription can be connected the same way Codex is. A maintainer replied there that OpenCode supports the Meta API, but that using the subscription is probably against Meta's terms of service, and the issue was closed.
feat(ai): add Muse Code subscription authentication #48367: a PR that would have added Muse Code subscription login (device-code OAuth) to OpenCode. It was closed without being merged, after a reviewer commented that it went against the Muse Code subscription terms.
Closing this as a duplicate of #41551, since there's been no reply in the day since it was flagged. That issue asked for Muse Code subscription login too. A maintainer replied there that OpenCode supports the Meta API, but that using the subscription is probably against Meta's terms of service. For subscription login, see the community plugins in #54388 and #56893, and check Meta's terms before using them. If your request is different from #41551, reply here and explain how, and we can reopen it. Thanks!

opencode-muse-authandopencode-muse-multi-authin the ecosystem docs. Both plugins log in with a Muse Code subscription from outside core. Maintainers haven't decided whether to list them, and docs: list Muse Multi Auth in the ecosystem #56893 says its plugin was tested on OpenCode 1.18.30 (v1), so it may not work on v2. If you use one, please check Meta's terms first. The bot will close this issue as a duplicate in 1 day unless you reply explaining how your request differs from #41551.
