Teague Cloud & Code Website Case Study

The Teague Cloud & Code website is the public-facing company website for my software and web development business.

I built the site to present the company’s services, portfolio, AI capabilities, and brand through a modern, interactive web experience. Instead of using a standard static landing page, I created a visually engaging frontend with real-time 3D effects, responsive layouts, and motion that reacts to user input.

Project Overview

The goal of the project was to build a company website that felt modern, technical, and visually different from a traditional business site.

The website needed to:

  • Present the company’s services clearly
  • Showcase software and web development capabilities
  • Highlight AI-related offerings
  • Display portfolio work
  • Provide a responsive experience across desktop and mobile devices
  • Create a memorable visual identity
  • Support direct customer inquiries and project leads

The final result combines business content with an interactive frontend experience built around Astro, Three.js, Tailwind CSS, and custom JavaScript.

I designed and developed the website from concept through deployment.

Main Features

Interactive Homepage

The homepage includes a real-time animated particle field that responds to pointer movement.

This interaction creates depth and motion that cannot be fully shown in a static screenshot, so it is best experienced on the live website.

Three.js and WebGL Effects

The site uses Three.js to render interactive visual elements directly in the browser.

These effects include:

  • Real-time particle animation
  • Cursor-reactive movement
  • Animated 3D branding elements
  • Depth-based visual effects
  • Smooth browser-rendered motion

Responsive Design

The website was designed to adapt across desktop, tablet, and mobile screen sizes.

The mobile layout includes:

Design Goals

The site was designed around several key goals:

Challenges I Worked Through

Interactive Performance

Real-time browser animation can affect performance if too many objects are rendered or updated inefficiently.

I had to balance:

  • Particle count
  • Animation smoothness
  • Browser performance
  • Visual quality
  • Mobile responsiveness

Responsive 3D Layout

Interactive 3D content behaves differently across screen sizes.

I had to adjust:

  • Camera positioning
  • Object scale
  • Hero layout
  • Text placement
  • Button spacing
  • Animation behavior

Combining Business Content With Visual Effects

The site needed to look impressive without allowing the animations to distract from the company’s services and calls to action.

I worked to keep the visuals behind the content while maintaining readable typography and clear navigation.

Mobile Navigation

The desktop navigation needed to transition into a mobile-friendly menu without breaking the overall visual design.

Brand Consistency

The visual effects, colors, typography, buttons, and content needed to feel like one consistent company identity.
