GitHub deprecated the ubuntu-22.04 hosted image on 2026-09-17: jobs on it are deliberately failed during scheduled brownouts, and the image is removed on 2027-04-17. Argus only pinned 22.04 because Souffle's PPA package links against libffi7, which 24.04 dropped. Install the Ubuntu 20.04 libffi7 build (checksum-pinned) before Souffle and run on 24.04, with a fresh Argus cache key so no 22.04-built deps/_build is restored.
