My work tends to begin where a conventional system stops being able to describe its own consequences: public infrastructure that technically works but fails its public; AI memory that persists without intelligible governance; health data that measures the body while losing the cause; security models that map components but not the authority moving between them.
I am interested in making those relationships explicit—and then making the resulting system usable.

- Relationships before components. A node is often only the place where several paths happen to align.
- Authority must be visible. Every consequential action—and consequential non-action—should identify who or what could authorize it.
- Absence is information. What a canonical graph cannot say is part of the system's behavior, not blank space.
- Accessibility is architecture. If access depends on individual heroics, the infrastructure has already failed.
- A system should remain whole. External dependencies may be convenient; they may not become unexplained points of collapse.
Build for the people standing at the edge of the process, because the center already has a workaround.
