mkc is configuration and build tool. It will create a configuration file based on the requested checks, build the project (partially implemented), and install the project (not yet implemented).

This software is in a volatile state. It may or may not work. Anything can change.
As of pre-alpha version 0.7, mkc can create a configuration file and do a basic build.
version 0.7 has been tested on Windows 10/MSys2, FreeBSD 14.3, Debian 13, MacOS Sequoia (intel), MacOS Golden Gate (m1).

mkc on CYGWIN does not handle international characters in filenames. currently not working (2026-10-20).
