The define SKILL gains 'Step 5: Mockups — the v1 screens, from YOUR
artifacts (optional)' between the feature map and the blueprint (renumbered
to Step 6): derived brief, the [Structure] [References] [Fidelity] budget,
.bobby/design/ outputs + mockups.md on a pick, the verbatim gate with skip,
and both skip mechanisms. The blueprint agent now references its step
name-first ('the Blueprint step (Step 6)') so BOB-076's insertion only
touches headings, and its walkthrough covers the design-direction line when
mockups.md exists. Command + CLAUDE templates gain the optional step in
their chain wording. (This repo's root CLAUDE.md regenerates on upgrade —
deliberately not hand-edited.)

…othing buildBlueprint parses .bobby/product/mockups.md when present (chosen direction + Locked/Status) into a model.mockups field that is null when the file is absent; the HTML masthead renders one Design-direction line only when the model carries it. This is what makes skip a real path: a skipped mockups stage changes nothing downstream. Also folds the init scaffolding test's loop gaining bobby-define-mockups (five define agents now checked). …angelog for the mockups stage The getFeatureTickets sort's unknown-stage fallback was the literal 16 — backlog's OLD rank — so renumbering STAGE_ORDER for define-mockups silently made unknown stages sort ahead of backlog (caught by the existing sort test). Deriving the fallback from STAGE_ORDER.backlog restores the intended tie and cannot drift on the next renumber.
