# Codefellows JS-401 Lab 41 Sockets

## Purpose

The purpose of this lab was to create a chat app using Vanilla JavaScript, Express, and socket.io.

## Getting started

Fork or clone the repo to your machine.
Run 'npm install' to install dependencies.
From the lab-jeff folder, either run 'nodemon' or 'node index.js'. Then, point your browser to 'localhost:3000'.

Other users on your same network my join your chat app. Find your local IP address from your machine. Then, have the other users point their browser to <yourIP>:3000.
