No error when beginning with '

Hi,
using latest codesepell (2.4.2).

• This is not recognized as an error: 'beginns
• But this is an error: ' beginns (There is a blank as second character)

Here is the original python code:

                'Trigger a backup when a new hour, day, week, or month '
                'beginns. If the system was off, it runs on the next start.'
            ),

That's expected: ' is part of words when using the default word parsing regex and 'beginns is not part of the list of typos. But then that's a little bit of a niche, isn't it?

I do understand the technical resons for this.

I don't see it that way.

I would recommend to extend the regex pattern (somehow) about string-starting-characters. I am not an regex nerd, but regex101.com often helps me about it. I know it isn't easy. Does codespell is able to distinguish between different syntax specific languages like Markdown, Python, C, etc?

Or remove non-word-characters from a "word" before checking it against the typo list.

codespell is context agnostic, the file type does not impact text processing.
