Summary

Dashlane is now a first-class source in Logins → Import.

  • New Dashlane tile in the import dialog with the current export steps (Vault menu → Settings → Export data → Export to CSV) and a copy button for app.dashlane.com.
  • The downloaded .zip is read as it is (no unpacking); only credentials.csv is used, notes/IDs/payments in the zip are left out.
  • 2FA comes along: the newer otpUrl column (and the older otpSecret) is saved as a 2FA code and linked to its login.
  • username2 / username3 fill an empty username, Dashlane's category becomes a tag.
  • The older Dashlane desktop app's JSON export (AUTHENTIFIANT) is read too; other JSON files are refused with a clear message.
  • A .dash secure archive (encrypted) explains to use Export to CSV instead.
  • Picker accepts .zip and .json; copy on the website and in FEATURES.md mentions Dashlane.

How to test

  1. Logins → Import → Dashlane.
  2. Drop the zip from Dashlane's Export to CSV.
  3. Review shows new/updated logins with the 2FA badge; import.

bun test test/password-import.test.ts (31 pass, 3 new Dashlane tests), desktop typecheck clean.

Guide Review Done

Dark:

Dashlane gets its own source in the import dialog with export steps. The zip
from Export to CSV is read as it is, 2FA from the newer otpUrl column is
linked to its login, username2/username3 fill an empty username, the category
becomes a tag, and the older desktop app's JSON export is read too. A .dash
secure archive explains to export a CSV instead.
