Phase 1: site cleanup map for protocol rebuild (nav containment + redirects)

Motivation

• Prepare the public site for a protocol foundation rebuild by containing legacy/demo surfaces in navigation and producing an execution-ready redirect/archive plan without deleting or rewriting pages yet.
• Reduce protocol-credibility risk by identifying stale claims, placeholder verification language, and proof-field exposures that must be removed or rewritten in Phase 2.
• Preserve visual/homepage direction and avoid surfacing Commons as a top-level nav item while keeping GitHub as an external top-nav link.

Description

• Added docs/SITE_REBUILD_PHASE1_CLEANUP.md containing a navigation audit, recommended top/footer/docs IA, and a prioritized list of pages to remove from main nav (no deletion).
• The cleanup doc provides a per-page disposition plan (merge/archive/redirect), an exact redirect map with targets, salvage guidance, and risk notes for each item.
• The doc includes a file-level stale-claim/terminology audit and a concise “do not carry forward” list (legacy proof-field emphasis, stub verification language, schema-valid == verified language, MCP-as-trust-root wording, hackathon/MVP positioning, unsupported production claims).
• No page content, CSS, or files were deleted or rewritten as part of this change; only the planning document was added.

Testing

• Ran npm install successfully in the environment.
• Ran npm test (which executes node --test tests/*.test.js) and all automated tests passed (26 tests, 0 failures).
• npm run build was not executed because no build script is defined in package.json.
