Description

JellyGlance is a modern self-hosted dashboard that sits beside Jellyfin. It covers live sessions, user stats, recently added media, libraries, downloads, calendars, webhooks, and backups. It is not a Seerr, Sonarr, or Jellyfin admin replacement.

Upstream ships official GitHub releases (latest v1.2.10) and a multi-arch container image (ghcr.io/nerdy-technician/jellyglance). Recommended deploy is Docker Compose with PostgreSQL. The project also publishes Proxmox LXC helpers under packaging/proxmox/ and Unraid CA templates.

Why add this?

Jellyfin users on Proxmox often want a companion dashboard in its own LXC. A Helper-Scripts CT would give one-command Debian LXC + Docker Compose (app + Postgres), matching how many media-stack apps are already offered. Official image, releases, and docs make it a clean CT candidate.

Installation / deployment notes

• Type: Docker Compose in an unprivileged Debian LXC (nesting + keyctl for Docker)
• Image: ghcr.io/nerdy-technician/jellyglance:latest (current release v1.2.10)
• DB: PostgreSQL 16 (compose companion or existing)
• WebUI: port 3000
• Persist: /opt/jellyglance/config, /opt/jellyglance/backups, Postgres data
• Env: POSTGRES_*, JWT_SECRET, TZ; first-run wizard needs Jellyfin URL + API key
• Suggested CT defaults: 2 cores, 2048 MB RAM, 8 GB disk, DHCP on vmbr0

Notes
