Superseded by #655, which moves the typescript catalog entry to 7.0.2 as part of a wider change.

The bare bump alone would not have worked here:

• src/object/merge.ts fails on 7.0 (TS6196, an unused public type parameter that cannot simply be deleted without changing the arity of Merge<A, B, X>).
• apps/website cannot run on 7.0 at all — expressive-code-twoslash pulls in @typescript-eslint/parser, which hard-refuses to load (Enhancement: Use TS 7 (tsgo / typescript-go) for type information typescript-eslint/typescript-eslint#10940). build(type-plus): build with TypeScript 7, test 5.4 through 7, widen the peer range #655 pins the website to TypeScript 6.
• The build compiler had to be pinned explicitly first, since typescript and the ts-* aliases compete for node_modules/.bin/tsc.

#655 also adds verify:dts, which compiles the emitted declarations under 5.4/5.5/5.6/6.0 so that building with 7 cannot silently break older consumers.
