I plan to contribute an open source dataset to Corpora titled UX Emotion-to-Color Mapping. The dataset maps six emotional states — Joy, Calm, Love, Wonder, Melancholy, and Nostalgia — to HEX/RGB colour values, design tokens, arousal/valence scores, UX interaction contexts, and typography pairings. This dataset was developed as part of my HCI thesis project Memora, a living memory app that organises personal experiences by emotional quality rather than chronology. The dataset is grounded in affective computing research and multisensory UX literature and is intended to be useful to designers and developers building emotionally-aware digital interfaces. |
