Applied on beta/0.5.0 together with the required lazrs bump: laspy 2.7.0 needs lazrs>=0.8,<0.9, so both moved (laspy 2.7 / lazrs 0.8.2) with all four light CI locks regenerated and the LiDAR read/write tests passing. Ships to main with v0.5.3. Closing as applied.
