  • Bump Scala from 3.3.7 to 3.9.0 (new LTS).
  • CI runs on Temurin 25 instead of Adoptium 21, including the lint job.
  • Fix the new warnings, since the build uses -Werror (which replaces the deprecated -Xfatal-warnings):
    • A with B becomes A & B in types.
    • Alphanumeric infix calls (isBefore, isEqual, minus) become regular method calls.
    • var x = _ becomes uninitialized in the benchmarks.
    • Explicit implicit arguments in GraphQLClient use using.
  • -Ykind-projector becomes -Xkind-projector.
  • The FAQ now says Scala 3.9.x LTS and JDK 17+, which Scala 3.9 requires.
