Description:
rote is an open source CLI that compiles a proven AI agent skill (a SKILL.md plus its reference files) into a typed, deterministic pipeline. Fixed logic becomes reviewable Python or TypeScript with per-step tests, while genuine judgment steps stay as typed LLM-judge signatures. It emits DBOS, Temporal, Cloudflare Workflows, Inngest, or plain Python/TS.
Why I think it's awesome:
Most AI coding tools on this list put a model in the loop at run time. rote goes the other direction: once a skill works, it turns the fixed parts into ordinary reviewable code with tests, so the repeatable path runs without an LLM call. Apache-2.0, Python 3.11+, and runnable with no install via
