What

  • Fix. "Now chart it" after a Smart answer drew the chart and then failed the turn with data_evidence_incomplete: the rows came from the turn before and no query ran in this one. The result a Smart answer keeps now records what it measures and which specialist served it, and when Smart charts it the rows count as that turn's evidence under the same coverage rule as a fresh result.
  • README. A recording of a Smart conversation in Studio (three questions in English, shown at four times speed, 5 MB GIF) under the Studio section.

Found while recording the README video; follows #181.

Checks

Local, on this tree: backend unit suite with coverage (7,255 passed), tests/eval (327 passed, one new), eval scorecard 48/48, blocking Ruff on changed files. No frontend code changed.

Not run locally: the seeded real-engine integration suite (its ports are in use by a running dev stack).

Live: the three recorded questions completed in Studio against the local stack, including the chart follow-up that failed before the fix.

Known in the recording

The chart card is titled "Combine of results", its legend is clipped, and the combined table shows raw decimals with a row-limit note that does not apply. These are visible in the GIF and are not fixed here.

"Now chart it" after a Smart answer drew the chart and then failed the turn,
because the rows came from the turn before and no query ran in this one. The
kept result now records what it measures and who served it, and counts as the
turn's evidence under the same coverage rule as a fresh result.

The README gains a recording of a Smart conversation in Studio.
