conda-recipe/meta.yaml carried REPLACE_WITH_GITHUB_TARBALL_SHA256 because the v3.0.3 source archive does not exist until the tag is pushed. The tag is pushed, so this records the real digest.

Produced by python3 scripts/release.py 3.0.3 --fetch-conda-sha256, and verified independently with the curl | shasum -a 256 method in conda-recipe/README.md — the two agree. A wrong digest here fails every conda build, so it is worth the second read.

Step 2 of scripts/RELEASING.md. That document has this going straight to main; it is on a branch only because the working convention here has been to avoid direct pushes to the default branch. Merge or cherry-pick as you prefer — the conda-forge feedstock PR is independent of it.

The v3.0.3 source archive exists now that the tag is pushed, so the
recipe can carry the real digest instead of the placeholder that stood
in while the archive did not exist.

Verified against `curl | shasum -a 256` as well as the release script's
own fetch, since a wrong digest here fails every conda build.
