Patch: the perf hooks, request ids, change-only notifies, and deferred rebuilds under a covered route. This is wave 4 of the 2026-09-29 perf batch, after wind 1.8.0 and artisan 0.0.17 (both live).

What ships

Two merged PRs since 0.0.23. The CHANGELOG section has all of it.

• perf: MagicPerfHooks, zone-carried causes, AuthRestored.changed, change-only repository notifies #210: MagicPerfHooks.sink, zone-carried causes, MagicRequest.id / MagicResponse.id / MagicError.id, AuthRestored.changed, change-only Repository notifies, and a const default for Model.casts.
• perf(ui): defer MagicStatefulView rebuilds while its route is covered #211: a MagicStatefulView under an opaque route defers its rebuilds until it is uncovered. The deferral is read through TickerMode.getValuesNotifier, which ships from Flutter 3.41.0, magic's own floor.

BREAKING: MagicController.onRefreshUI is removed and MagicPerfHooks.sink replaces it; the migration is in the CHANGELOG. magic_devtools 0.0.7 assigns onRefreshUI and does not compile against this release. magic_devtools 0.0.8 (fluttersdk/magic_devtools#22, already cleared) is published straight after this tag, and 0.0.7 is to be retracted.

The devtools install pins move with the batch: magic:install --with-devtools (_devtoolsDependencies), the install.yaml post-install message (parity-tested) and doc/packages/magic-devtools.md now write magic_devtools ^0.0.8, fluttersdk_dusk ^0.0.17 and fluttersdk_telescope ^0.0.9.

• pubspec.yaml, example/pubspec.yaml and example/pubspec.lock: 0.0.24. The lockfile is hosted (wind 1.8.0, artisan 0.0.17, contracts 1.2.0) and has no /Users/ path.
• skills/magic-framework/SKILL.md: body stamp magic 0.0.24, frontmatter 0.1.56 to 0.1.57, because the reference content moved.
