The maintainer wants GameModeExecutor in Settings' Startup list, with its switch. Office Click-to-Run's updates ended every logon-task process here on 2026-10-11 and 2026-10-17 while every Run-key program survived; a spike measures that before anything changes. Decided with the maintainer: actions by tag, Rust from rustup, least privilege, attested release files, then Dependabot for crates and actions with automatic merges for compatible updates behind a protected main and a RustSec audit. During the Office Click-to-Run updates of 2026-10-11 and 2026-10-17, every process started by a logon task died, while every Run-key program survived. A survival spike is set up to confirm this before anything changes.
