• Onboards google-cloud-automl-v1 and google-cloud-automl-v1beta1 to Librarian.
• Unblocked by gapic-generator-ruby #1340:
  • Automatically rejoins split doc URLs across newlines (https:\n //... -> https://..., b/153077040).
  • Strips cross-reference links for known non-existent messages (google.cloud.automl.v1.ColumnSpec, b/158466893).
• Removed .owlbot.rb, .OwlBot.yaml, and .owlbot-manifest.json.
• Resolves librarian#7465.
• Local verification:
  • toys ci --test --rubocop --doctest --gems google-cloud-automl-v1,google-cloud-automl-v1beta1: Passed (146 runs, 3652 assertions, 0 failures, 0 errors, 0 offenses).
  • toys ci --yard --gems google-cloud-automl-v1,google-cloud-automl-v1beta1: Passed (0 warnings, 0 errors).

3. fix: onboard google-cloud-run-client and google-iam-client to Librarian

• Onboards renamed wrapper gems:
  • google-cloud-run-client (renamed from google-cloud-run)
  • google-iam-client (renamed from google-iam)
• Configured ruby-cloud-renamed-from under ruby_cloud_opts in librarian.yaml.
• Supported by Librarian v0.40.1-0.20260904142926-5cdfd772da69 (librarian#7500 merged) and gapic-generator-cloud (gapic-generator-ruby #1342).
• Removed .owlbot.rb, .OwlBot.yaml, and .owlbot-manifest.json.
• Resolves librarian#7447.
• Local verification:
  • toys ci --test --rubocop --doctest --gems google-cloud-run-client,google-iam-client: Passed (20 runs, 20 assertions, 0 failures, 0 errors, 0 offenses).

4. fix: onboard google-cloud-compute and google-cloud-compute-v1 to Librarian

• Onboards google-cloud-compute and google-cloud-compute-v1 to Librarian.
• Removed .owlbot.rb, .OwlBot.yaml, and .owlbot-manifest.json.
• Regenerated with local gapic-generator-cloud 0.52.0 and Librarian v0.40.1-0.20260904142926-5cdfd772da69.
• Resolves librarian#7452 and librarian#7461.
• Snippet Folder & keep Behavior (librarian#7463):
  • In legacy OwlBot builds, snippets/ was omitted via FileUtils.rm_rf File.join(OwlBot.staging_dir, "snippets").
  • Adding snippets to the keep list in librarian.yaml does not suppress creation of the snippets/ directory. In MoveAndMergeWithKeep, when the destination directory does not exist on disk, os.Rename moves the directory directly without invoking keepFunc. Furthermore, keep is designed to protect existing files in the target directory from being overwritten, not to delete or prevent moving newly generated files from staging.
  • The generated snippets are therefore included and verified cleanly.

  • toys ci --test --rubocop --doctest --gems google-cloud-compute,google-cloud-compute-v1: Passed (1244 runs, 21204 assertions, 0 failures, 0 errors, 0 offenses).
