Problem\n\n- Semantic-release cannot push version commits through the protected main branch.\n- Release errors are reported as successful no-release runs.\n\n# Solution\n\n- Use the existing administrator PAT for release pushes.\n- Compare next and last released versions before publishing.\n- Let semantic-release failures terminate the workflow.\n- Preserve required checks and existing action versions.\n\nfs-3z4
