This project was generated using Angular CLI version 21.2.2.

Then added [ng-Bootstrap] (https://ng-bootstrap.github.io/).

Then Claude asked to generate the site according to the old site spec and a reference to the old site GitHub repo. Angular CLI MCP was used.

This was verified according to my Angular 21 knowledge and IMO produced a quite nicely functioning Angular 21 application with Bootstrap components, including fully working i18n that was not the complicated Angular I18N, but a nice clean dynamic one.

The CSS was off, which was fixed using Firecrawl MCP and prompting the CSS to be modified according to the old site.

Remaining CSS bugs fixed using additional promps and Angular DevTools AI.

Added Vitest unit tests aided by Claude. Added Playwright end-to-end tests aided by Claude.

Took about four hours, including the time spent on waiting for more tokens :)

Phase 2: Migrated all content to Contentful CMS. Why Contentful? Because they hosted nice node.js Meetups in Berlin and offered free beer and pizza. And I have had absolutely no problems with the softaware

Development server

To start a local development server, run:

ng serve

Once the server is running, open your browser and navigate to http://localhost:4200/. The application will automatically reload whenever you modify any of the source files.

Code scaffolding

Angular CLI includes powerful code scaffolding tools. To generate a new component, run:

ng generate component component-name

For a complete list of available schematics (such as components, directives, or pipes), run:

ng generate --help

Building

To build the project run:

ng build

This will compile your project and store the build artifacts in the dist/ directory. By default, the production build optimizes your application for performance and speed.

Running unit tests

To execute unit tests with the Vitest test runner, use the following command:

ng test

Running end-to-end tests

For end-to-end (e2e) testing, run:

ng e2e

Angular CLI does not come with an end-to-end testing framework by default. You can choose one that suits your needs.
