A Nigerian health tech MVP featuring a medical command centre CLI application for healthcare operations management.

Features

1. Phone Number Validator

Converts Nigerian phone numbers to the international +234 format.

• Accepts: 08XXXXXXXXX, +2348XXXXXXXXX, +234XXXXXXXXX, variations with spaces/dashes
• Outputs: Standardized +234XXXXXXXXX format

2. Triage Module

BMI-based health risk assessment for patient screening.

• Categories:
  • Severely Underweight (BMI < 16)
  • Underweight (16 ≤ BMI < 18.5)
  • Normal Weight (18.5 ≤ BMI < 25)
  • Overweight (25 ≤ BMI < 30)
  • Obese Class I (30 ≤ BMI < 35)
  • Obese Class II (35 ≤ BMI < 40)
  • Severely Obese (BMI ≥ 40)
• Provides health recommendations for each category

3. Logistics Module

Drug and vaccine stock management with automated alerts.

• Features:
  • Low stock alerts
  • Expiration date tracking
  • Critical shortage notifications
• Commands for inventory management

Installation

1. Create a Python virtual environment:

python -m venv venv

2. Activate the virtual environment:

# On Windows
.\venv\Scripts\activate

# On macOS/Linux
source venv/bin/activate

3. Install dependencies:

pip install -r requirements.txt

Note: In this MVP version, stock data is stored in-memory and is not persisted between CLI sessions. This will be enhanced with database persistence in future versions.
