Hi, I'm Hunter 👋

I'm a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Visual Thought Labs in San Francisco. I turn large, messy real-world data into deployed decisions — my work spans the full ML lifecycle, from feature engineering on billion-row datasets to survival and causal modeling, deep learning, NLP, and production drift monitoring. Along the way I've contributed to 20+ publications, much of it from my years in healthcare ML at UCSF.
