GitVersion runs as a restored dotnet tool and writes its variables to GITHUB_ENV, so the version reaches the build and the archive names. The upload-artifact name carries it as well: GitHub downloads an artifact as <name>.zip, which is what a reader sees first. Assisted-by: Claude:claude-fable-5-1:Claude Code
