If I am not completely mistaken, this line is neccessary, because the database object will not be set in the parent class.

We aren't taking pull requests on this repo anymore. Would you mind sending this change over to https://github.com/joomla-framework/session? (Don't worry about the package being deprecated, we're still merging in bug fixes but aren't planning on new features). |
