hyprland 0.55+ uses lua as a config language, however .conf is still supported by now for like 1-2 major versions.

Since Hyprland 0.55, hyprlang is deprecated in favor of lua. this changes are based in the new docs:

idk if Input issues are a problem in 0.55+, but you can convert the solutions to lua i guess
