Route the traffic the project started getting after 1.1.0: questions to Discussions, defects to Issues, vulnerabilities to a private advisory. CONTRIBUTING covers setup, the multi-version testing that would have caught the 1.1.0 import crash, commit conventions, and how to add a template. SECURITY asks for private reports through the Security tab or email, and promises GitHub Security Advisory credit. SUPPORT explains which channel fits which question. CODE_OF_CONDUCT is Contributor Covenant 2.1. Also replace the code-style badge, which claimed black formatting the project never applied — black would reformat 8 of 12 files — with a CI status badge that reflects something real.
