## In progress held four unchecked bullets. Three were noise, and the fourth was work already finished this afternoon.

  • two *(empty)* markers,
  • one item closed on 2026-09-11, left as an unchecked bullet with a Superseded: tail,
  • Update this repo's own project-scope install — done today; both scopes are at 1.12.0.

And the real open item, giving the sharpened eval case 2 a rate, had been swallowed: a superseding edit replaced its text and left its tail attached to the item that replaced it.

So the record claimed work that was done and hid work that was not — which is exactly what /groundrules:close exists to catch, and it was produced by hand-editing the file that check reads. Worth stating plainly rather than tidying quietly: the drift was mine, and it accumulated across a day of successive string replacements, each individually correct.

The section now holds one true open item. The install fix and this cleanup are recorded under Recently done.

In progress held four unchecked bullets: two empty markers, one closed
item left as a bullet, and an install task completed today. The real
open item — giving the sharpened eval case 2 a rate — had been swallowed
when a superseding edit left its tail behind.

So the record claimed work that was done and hid work that was not,
which is precisely what /groundrules:close exists to catch, produced by
hand-editing the file it checks.

Section rewritten to one true open item; the install fix and this
cleanup are recorded as done.
