This extension connects Gemini to Maindex Smart — a streamlined knowledge graph with four intuitive tools:
- keep — store a new memory
- recall — search and retrieve memories
- update — revise an existing memory
- forget — remove a memory
Install from the Gemini Extensions page, or add the gemini-extension.json configuration manually.
On first use, you'll be redirected to maindex.io to sign in and authorize the connection.
Team workspaces let multiple members share a scoped memory graph. Use team and collection on keep, optional team on recall, and team-namespaced IDs (team-slug:mem-xxxx) on update and forget. See the Teams Guide.
If you need direct access to the full Maindex API — typed associations, collections, bulk operations, graph traversal, and MCP resources — use the Expert extension:
