Users asking for specialist help can now discover existing channel agents through
search_agents, with channel links, purposes, examples and their effective shared skills. The operating guide recommends relevant specialists without sending or transferring work automatically; channel managers can describe or hide their own agent.Metadata reconciles at startup and nightly at 03:00 host-local time without an engine run. Cached descriptors narrow search work; every returned result still requires current gateway authorization and live platform audience proof. The Slack provider protects the entire reply audience, excludes DM destinations and personal skills, and fails closed when membership is unavailable. Other platforms default to unsupported. Pages and skill summaries are bounded and explicitly report truncation.
Validation: full regression 3,878 passed / 34 skipped / 0 failed; static checks, secret scan, dedicated and existing security coverage, and DCO passed. Independent review reran 28 directory tests with no blockers. FEATURES, TEST-PLAN and CHANGELOG updated; private dual-engine acceptance definitions created and read back. Live Slack acceptance has not been executed, and stable release approval is outside this change.
