HLS packaging currently fails immediately when the upload-authorization callback returns a transient error, and reports it as an object-upload failure. Retry network/read failures and HTTP 429/502/503/504 with bounded backoff and per-attempt deadlines; preserve safe callback diagnostics in the stream.
Add an optional operator-configured private callback TCP destination. The HTTPS URL still supplies TLS and HTTP identity, every resolved destination must be private, redirects are refused, and there is no public fallback. Object-storage and media-source transports are unchanged.
Validation: full encoder Go tests passed. Regression coverage includes transient recovery with identical scoped requests, terminal HTTP failures, retry exhaustion, cancellation, TLS hostname verification, and rejection of non-private destinations. Full Go race tests and
go vet ./...also passed.
