Increase type validation coverage

The validation doesn't handle many common Python types:

• tuple (only handles list, set, dict)
• frozenset
• typing.Optional (only handles | union syntax)
• Generic types like Sequence[T], Mapping[K, V]
• typing.Literal
• typing.Any
