Merge summary: quest docs only. Splits the refusal-close work into a ready external-condition quest ( (Written by Claude Opus 5.5) |
Problem
The Chromium refusal-close failure now has a proven source fix in moq-dev/noq#40, but MoQ cannot adopt it until a compatible adapter is published. The existing quest still described an open-ended investigation.
Approach
Record the acknowledged-close delivery cause and completed source validation. Split publication into a ready external-condition quest, then gate the existing MoQ pin-and-lock adoption quest on that condition. Verify published source contains the fix rather than inferring it from a version number.
The recommended unattended follow-up preserves main's 2.x adapter line and release's 1.3.x compatibility. A release exposure check and compatible backport precede any release pin. No merge or publication is performed here.
Impact
Alternatives
An unpublished local patch proved the fix in full interoperability validation, but cannot serve as a shipped dependency. Combining publication with adoption would obscure the external blocker.
Follow-ups
Merge and publish the source fix with explicit maintainer authorization, then perform compatible MoQ dependency adoption and strict full interoperability validation. The user authorized unattended recommended decisions for this batch; the plan records those recommendations without a separate interview.
