- Around line 36-40: Update recommendation A so each independently cancellable
logical wait owns its Park, not the retained Connection handle. Require callers
to use and drop a disposable clone for each wait; if the API cannot ensure
abandoned polls release registrations, recommend the caller-owned waiter in
option B instead.
Review comments at @quest/m2/README.md:
- Line 119: Narrow the “QUIC driver poll waits” entry so it promises poll_*
forms only for waits included in the proposal, excluding handshake_confirmed and
Endpoint::wait_idle.

Poll forms take &mut self, cx with a kio::Park per handle, and kio becomes a direct driver dependency. The README entry excludes handshake_confirmed and Endpoint::wait_idle, which stay async. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

readiness and register waiters while holding the owning connection or endpoint
state lock, and signalers update readiness and wake the corresponding list

Pending only if readiness remains false; retain the existing async forms as thin

Problem
moq-tokio's QUIC driver waits through futures over tokio
Notify, which can't register a bare waker, so poll-based callers box one future per pending operation, and the nativepoll::Sessionplanned in drop-web-transport-trait and thepoll_ackedhook have no poll method to call. The obvious fix, a stateless&selfpoll pushing wakers into a shared list, keeps every abandoned registration (and its task) until the next signal: a trial kept all 1000 abandonedpoll_closedwaiters.Consumers: Drop web-transport-trait's native QUIC
poll::Session, and poll_acked.Approach
A new quest,
quest/m2/driver-poll.md: the driver's stream, datagram, close, and accept waits getpoll_*forms named like moq-uring's driver. Poll forms take&mut self, cxwith akio::Parkper handle, matching moq-uring and moq-net'spoll::Sessionand keeping kio private; kio becomes a direct dependency of the driver (already in the tree through moq-clock, accepted in moq-dev/moq#6132). Acceptance is the 1000-abandoned-clone case with no live registration left before any signal.Impact
None: quest files only.
Alternatives
&self, &kio::Waiter(puts kio in public signatures); a caller-owned slab-backedWaittoken (a second waiter primitive); a stateless shared list (leaks).Follow-ups
