This plugin allows you to automatically download backups from your servers to a specified local folder.
The Backup Downloader plugin downloads backups from your remote servers to a specific directory on the server where Vito Deployer is running.
This is especially useful if you are running Vito at home (homelab) and want to keep a local copy of your backups for extra safety. 🏠💻
Setting it up is really simple:
- Enable the plugin on each server where you want to download backups from.
- Specify a folder path where the backups should be saved.
- The plugin will handle the rest, checking for and downloading backups periodically (every hour). 🕒✅
